APPROVAL/LOCAL LAW TO AMEND CHAPTER 5 OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY CODE
ENTITLED “APPROPRIATIONS” BY ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION F TO SECTION 5-1
A Local Law to Amend Chapter 5 of the Putnam County Code by adding a New
Subsection F to Section 5-1
Be it enacted by the County Legislature of the County of Putnam as follows:
Section 1.
A New Subsection F is hereby added to Section 5-1 of the Putnam County Code to read
as follows:
F. Except for year-end budgetary transfers initiated by the Commissioner of Finance and
budgetary transfers initiated by the Legislature pursuant to Charter Section 7.07(B)(3)
there shall be no budgetary transfers between utility budget lines and other non-utility
budget lines. Utility budget lines include electric, telephone, internet, heating oil,
gasoline, diesel, natural gas and propane.
Section 2.
This Local Law shall become effective immediately.
