County Executive Byrne & Sheriff McConville " Inspect Troops" Of George Fischer Middle School
Carmel, NY – Earlier today, Putnam County Executive Kevin Byrne and Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville joined students from George Fischer Middle School during the early part of their 5th annual Historical Walking Tour of Carmel. Students dressed in Revolutionary War soldier uniforms, went through “drills,” and observed blank musket firing by teachers Keith Reilly and Rob Buccheri. Students had the opportunity to talk with the County Executive and Sheriff as they were “inspected” in ranks.
